Voltcraft Digital Multimeters VC-830/850/870/880 - VOLTCRAFT VC870, The Voltcraft VC-870 Digital Multimeter is a sturdy, reliable, practical piece of equipment that is safe for the user. This professional multimeter has a patented casing construction that allows it to be opened for changing the battery and the fuses, only when the device has been disconnected from all measuring leads. At input voltages of > 30V, a warning symbol appears in the display. The unique safety concept is rounded off by the sturdy casing with sprayed soft-rubber protection, the 1000V high-power fuses with a separation power of 30kA, as well as the impedance switchover, reducing the input resistance upon pressing a button to avoid incorrect measurements through stray voltage. An optical electronic interface is included with the device, which is approved for measuring over-voltage category CAT IV 600V and tested according to EN-61010. Temperature measurement and real-effective value-measurement (True RMS) complete the design, while an additional performance measuring function up to 2500W for efficiency, loop power and cosphi is integrated by the plug-adaptor.
